Walking Street

From Guzhen you take the 202 bus north for 90 minutes until you reach the last stop on the route which looks vaguely like this:

Jokes, it looks exactly like this because this is it. This is where walking street begins. Also that ferris wheel is 5 storeys high and on top of a 4 storey building but it also costs TEN US DOLLARS TO RIDE so you can bet we did not do that.

The 202 bus is seriously the worst public bus in world history especially on Friday or Sunday nights when you reach the Xiaolan bus station. Seriously. Once we were riding home and I counted 94 people on the bus. And I don't know how many seats there are on these buses but it's definitely not more than 30 so just imagine it and then vomit probably. Also once we were in a traffic jam on the 202 for 35 minutes so it took us 3 hours to get home. Just trust me that it's the literal worst. Okay. Good.

While we were there, we mainly just followed the foot traffic and eventually came upon this place:

...which, if you can't tell, is 101 uneven and crumbly stone steps rather akin to what most of the Great Wall looks like. Our curiosity beat the desire to not climb 101 uneven, crumbly stone steps, and we walked up.

And we found some cool architecture!

We took an abundance of steps that day, to say the least, but I suppose it's called Walking Street for a reason.
